Hello world! It’s me. No, not the oh-so popular song by Adele. My name is David. You can call me Dave, that’s cool with me.
For those of you who don’t know me, I am one of the DMaC lab staff at Hilbert College. I am finishing up by Bachelors of Arts and Sciences degree in Digital Media and Communications. Mainly I concentrate on film and visual effects. What does all that mean? Well, I like shooting video and getting the most crisp and beautiful shots possible. After that I’ll pull it into either Adobe Premiere or After Effects and go to town.
Oh yeah, motion graphics are really cool, too.
Currently, with the help of a few other people, I am working on my first short film called “Terms and Conditions.” It’ll be out later this year. You can check out the trailer here.
When I’m not shooting or editing video, I’m probably out eating food and Instagramming it. (Is it socially acceptable to turn “Instagram” into a verb in 2016?)
I think I’ll end my personal introduction here. If you need help in the lab, I work Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am-12:30pm. Next week I’ll be back with things that actually relate to the digital media field. Make sure to stay tuned for more!
